Kohli could feature in one-dayers

India captain Virat Kohli has cooled speculation he may be rested for the upcoming one-day series against Sri Lanka.

India take on Sri Lanka in the third and final Test on Saturday after already sealing the series by winning the first two but then attention will turn to the limited-overs series against the same opposition.

A run of five ODIs follows before one Twenty20 clash and Kohli was being tipped to sit things out in order to keep him fresh for the rest of the season.

However, the skipper says no decision has been made and he could yet feature.

"Who said I am not playing? I don't know where this came from, but I have no problems in playing," Kohli said. "We (team management and selectors) are going to sit down on selection soon and we certainly have plans in mind and combinations that we want to speak about.

"So as captain, I am definitely in the thick of things and knowing what to speak to the committee about."

The India team for the upcoming one-day games will be selected on Sunday.
