Conte linked to PSG

10th November 2017, 14:55 by Nick Harris

Paris Saint-Germain are said to have contacted Chelsea boss Antonio Conte with a view to offering him the manager's role at the club.

Current PSG boss Unail Emery is not expected to be offered a new deal at PSG, unless he goes on to win both Ligue 1 and the Champions League, and speculation in the French media has seen the Italian boss of Chelsea strongly linked with the post.

Conte appears to be having a love-hate relationship with the Blues this season, after his success of last term, and there have been questions about his position at Stamford Bridge.

Conte himself has made it clear in the past that he would like to return to Italy to manage one day but he may well be offered the chance to do that via Paris.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea boss and current Manchester United chief Jose Mourinho has also been linked with the post.
