Turkish enquiry over Everton midfielder
Fenerbahce have reportedly asked Everton officials about taking Davy Klaassen on loan after he struggled to get a game at Goodison.
The Turkish giants sent a delegation to the Wyscout forum in London this week and reports have filtered back that they held talks with Everton officials.
Whether it was just a brief chat or something more is not clear, but Fenerbahce are certainly interested in picking up the 24-year-old former Ajax star on a short-term basis.
Klaassen has played just 190 minutes of Premier League football since his £23.5million switch in the summer and has not featured in any of the league matches under caretaker boss David Unsworth.
Fotomac claims Everton told Fenerbahce it would cost them £2million to loan the Dutchman for the rest of the season, a figure the Turks believe is too much.
