Hoyle rules out striker move

9th November 2017, 15:17 by Bobbie Jackson

Huddersfield won't bring in attacking reinforcements in January but will look to add in other areas, according to owner Dean Hoyle.

The Terriers have made a positive start to the debut season in the Premier League and they currently sit 10th, having claimed 15 points from their opening 11 games.

Huddersfield drafted in Laurent Depoitre and Steve Mounie from Porto and Montpellier respectively over the summer and both have impressed in the early stages of their careers in England.

Hoyle believes they can rely on the duo to keep them in the Premier League and has ruled out signing another striker in January.

He told BBC Radio Leeds' West Yorkshire Sport Daily: “We don't need to bring in another striker. We have two very good strikers. We know the positions we need to fill and we are on it like a rash."
