Berahino and Dawson set for England audition
Roy Hodgson is set to watch England hopefuls Saido Berahino and Craig Dawson play for West Brom against Everton on Saturday.
The England head coach will be at The Hawthorns for the Premier League clash to check on a number of players who have the potential to earn call-ups for his next squad in October.
Berahino is believed to be in his thoughts after the Burundi-born striker started the season in blistering form with two goals in the opening Premier League clash with Sunderland and two for England's Under-21 side in Moldova last week.
Hodgson could be looking to find cover for the injured Daniel Sturridge who will be out for three weeks following an injury he picked up on international duty that will leave him short on games ahead of the next international double header against San Marino and Estonia.
Berahino, 21, has scored nine goals in 11 England Under-21 appearances and is highly-regarded within the Three Lions set-up, particularly by Gareth Southgate.
Dawson, 24, could have an outside chance of making the squad if injuries hit hard but he is a player who Hodgson knows well, having given him his Premier League debut at Albion in 2011.
The former Rochdale man has 15 Under-21 caps and played three times for Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games.
