Noguera signs up with Bath

6th December 2017, 16:51 by Bobbie Jackson

Argentina international prop Lucas Noguera has agreed to join Premiership outfit Bath from Jaguares.

The 24-year-old has never previously represented a club outside of his homeland but he will now head to the Recreation Ground.

Noguera is a key figure for his national side, having turned out in 43 Tests for the Pumas, including recent fixtures with England and Ireland.

Bath director of rugby Todd Blackadder said: "He's a very talented young prop who has already gained a huge amount of experience on the international stage."

Meanwhile, Bath have also handed a contract extension to 34-year-old back James Wilson until the end of the current campaign.
