Fury set for big purse

12th February 2019, 17:17 by Nick Harris

Tyson Fury is in line for a big purse when he meets Deontay Wilder for the second time, with reports claiming he will earn £20m.

The self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' drew with Wilder when they first met back in December in a thrilling contest, which many thought the Brit had won with plenty to spare despite almost being knocked out in the final round.

The rematch between is set to be announced this week and the figures each receive will depend on how well the fight sells although, after a cracker first time out, it should generate some big business.

Fury claims he gave the £7m he received for the first fight to charity.
