Robben set to miss out on Bayern farewell
Arjen Robben has revealed that his ongoing injury problems could see him depart Bayern Munich without making another appearance.
The 35-year-old winger is set to end a successful 10-year spell at the Allianz Arena this summer when his contract expires.
However, the Dutchman has not played since the 5-1 Champions League win against Benfica on November 27 because of muscular problems.
And, with the games running out this season, he is uncertain that he will be fit enough to make a farewell appearance.
Robben told Sky Sports in Germany: "I do have my doubts and I am unsure I can play for Bayern again this season," the 35-year-old told Sky on Thursday.
"It's frustrating not to know what is wrong exactly."
Meanwhile, Robben has not decided where he will be playing his football next season as teams in America's MLS, Japan and his former clubs Groningen and Eindhoven in the Netherlands are all said to be vying for his signature.
"Sure, there are enquiries and calls from clubs, but first I want to train again for a longer period of time," he added.
