Schalke keeper linked with Bayern
Bayern Munich are reportedly lining up a swoop for Schalke goalkeeper Alexander Nubel as Manuel Neuer's long-term replacement.
It is well known that Bayern are looking to inject their squad with fresh talent this summer and they have already agreed deals for Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard from Atletico Madrid and Stuttgart respectively.
More signings are on the way and reports are rife suggesting Schalke's 22-year-old keeper Nubel is also a target for Bayern boss Niko Kovac.
Whether Bayern are able to wrap up a deal this summer remains to be seen as he is under contract until 2020, with Schalke keen to keep hold after he broke into the first team this season, making 17 appearances.
However, Bayern are hopeful of getting their man and believe Schalke will eventually back down and cash in.
