Dortmund planning for life after Pulisic

2nd January 2019, 15:56 by Bobbie Jackson

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly lining up Thorgan Hazard as a replacement for the departing Christian Pulisic.

Chelsea confirmed the signing of USA international Pulisic for £58million on Wednesday, although he will spend the rest of the season back on-loan with Dortmund.

It appears that Dortmund are wasting little time in ensuring they have a replacement for the 20-year-old with reports suggesting Hazard is at the top of their list.

The Belgian has settled in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach over recent years, having signed from Chelsea in 2015.

His current deal with Gladbach is set to expire in 2020 so Dortmund are likely to wait until the summer of 2019 before making a firm approach.
