Frankfurt agree to sell hitman to West Ham

16th July 2019, 10:49 by Bobbie Jackson

West Ham are on the verge of signing Sebastien Haller after Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed the striker will undergo a medical.

The Hammers have been desperately trying to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer and appear to be on the verge of getting one of their targets.

It's understood Eintracht have accepted an offer of £45million for the man who scored 15 Bundesliga goals in 2018-19.

His sale will see Eintracht make a huge profit, having signed Haller from Utrecht for £6million in the summer of 2017.

"Eintracht and West Ham have agreed terms for the transfer of Sebastien Haller," the Bundesliga club tweeted. "Haller has now been cleared to undergo a medical in London. If all goes to plan then Haller will sign with the Hammers."
