Mings hints at Villa stay

8th April 2019, 14:14 by Nick Harris

Tyrone Mings has hinted he may well be staying at Aston Villa beyond the end of his current loan deal.

The Bournemouth defender has been in excellent form for Villa this season, after joining for a season long loan from the south coast club last summer.

He has quickly become a fans favourite and has been linked with a permanent move if Villa can secure a return to the top flight - and they have hit form at a good time and a play-off place looks to be almost guaranteed.

That speculation has increased over the weekend when Myngs 'liked' a tweet from a fan which said: "There's no harm admitting you wanna stay next season King Mings".

Despite the speculation Mings' stay appears to be dependent on Villa going up this term.
