Pisano opens up on 'difficult' spell
Eros Pisano says his recent injury absence was difficult to handle but he's relieved to now be fit and playing for Bristol City again.
Pisano had been out since early September with a hip injury but has returned in the past two games and will hope to kick on for the second half of the Championship campaign.
Pisano was pleased to help the Robins beat Ipswich and then get a draw against Millwall upon his comeback but admits being absent over the autumn was difficult.
"I’m very glad [to be back]," he said on the club's website. "When I came back against Ipswich it was a good win and Millwall was a difficult game. We deserved more but we have to continue our way.
"You have to stay focused on your target. It’s difficult to be out for a long time but when you come back you have to help the team and that’s what I want to do. "I always try to do my best whether I play or don’t play through injury because I want to come back as early as possible."
City go to Birmingham on Saturday and Pisano believes his team-mates will be ready for the clash at St Andrew's.
He added: "We have to think about Birmingham now and I think we are ready for them."
