Vaulks eager to shine in Cardiff
Will Vaulks says he is looking forward to the new season after signing for Cardiff City from Rotherham United.
Wales international Vaulks has signed a three-year deal with the Welsh outfit, joining for an undisclosed fee, and he is eager to get started with his new employers ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
"I'm absolutely over the moon to be here and to get this over the line. It's been a brilliant year for me. I'm really looking forward to playing regularly at Cardiff City Stadium after getting a taste of it at the Slovakia match," he told the club's official website.
"It's great to be playing for the biggest club in Wales just six months after my first international call up."
Midfielder Vaulks scored seven goals from 41 Championship appearances for the Millers last season but he was unable to stop the club suffering relegation to League One.
The 25-year-old becomes Cardiff's third summer signing following the arrivals of Curtis Nelson and Joe Day, who were also confirmed on Thursday after moving from Oxford United and Newport County respectively.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
