Bournemouth midfielder seals Fulham move

6th August 2019, 16:46 by Bobbie Jackson

Bournemouth outcast Harry Arter has agreed to join Championship side Fulham on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.

The 28-year-old was sent to Cardiff last season after a string of injuries saw him fall down the pecking order at Bournemouth.

The Bluebirds were understood to be keen on taking Arter on loan for a second successive season, but Fulham have won the race.

Arter will link up with his brother-in-law Scott Parker, who took charge of Fulham last season, for the current campaign.

Fulham have the option to sign Arter permanently when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

Arter told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be here. Fulham is a fantastic club with a lot of ambition, who want to get back to the Premier League, and I hope I can help them achieve that this season."
