Cottagers ace Seri to snub Eagles for France return
Fulham's Jean-Michael Seri would reportedly prefer a summer return to France over a switch across London to Crystal Palace.
The 27-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder joined the Cottagers last summer after three years with Nice, penning a four-year deal in west London.
However, following Fulham's relegation, it seems likely he will only play for one of those years as the Ivory Coast international seeks top-flight football elsewhere.
Seri, who made 32 Premier League appearances - scoring just once and providing three assists - had been heavily linked with a move back to Ligue 1, with both Monaco and Lyon said to be lining up swoops.
However, speculation earlier this week suggested Palace boss Roy Hodgson was keen to offer the player an opportunity to remain in England next season.
But, the latest reports from the Seri camp are claiming he would prefer a return to France's top flight, so the Cottagers will now await a satisfactory offer in the region of £20million before agreeing to a sale.
