Roma considering move for Cottagers flop
Roma have expressed an interest in signing Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri this summer, according to his agent Franklin Mala.
Seri, who was once linked with Barcelona, joined Fulham from Nice last summer for £25million but failed to impress as the west London side suffered relegation from the Premier League.
The 27-year-old hinted earlier in the summer that he wanted to leave and it looks like Roma could offer him a lifeline.
Mala revealed he has spoken with the Serie A club and insists his client would be "happy to play" his football in the Italian top-flight.
"My Italian partner and I spoke to Roma a couple of weeks ago. We'll see how the situation evolves," Mala told TeleRadioStereo.
"He'd be happy to play in Serie A and Roma are a very good club."
Crystal Palace are also understood to be keeping tabs on his situation but reports claim he would prefer a switch away from England.
