Sessegnon – I want PL with Fulham
Ryan Sessegnon is setting his sights on helping Fulham reach the Premier League this season.
The 17-year-old has been in sensational form for the Cottagers, netting 14 goals in his 39 appearances and was rewarded on Sunday by being named both the Championship's Player of the Season and EFL Young Player of the Year award.
Slavisa Jokanovic's men remain in the automatic promotion hunt but Saturday's 1-1 draw with Brentford saw them slip behind Cardiff who won 2-0 at Norwich.
There is still plenty to play for in the battle for the top two and recent speculation has suggested Sessegnon may not have to wait too long to play in the top flight.
Tottenham are thought to be keen on bringing him to the Premier League but the England under-21 international says he is keen to take his first steps in the big time with his boyhood club.
"I would love it to be with Fulham in the Premier League," Sessegnon told Sky Sports News.
"I have been at the club since the age of eight. It has been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League with Fulham.
"We are so very close I just want to get over the line now."
