Injury worry for Whites

8th April 2019, 14:21 by Nick Harris

Leeds have a major injury worry ahead of their clash with Preston on Tuesday, with Pablo Hernandez an injury doubt.

The Spaniard has been at the heart of everything Leeds have done well this season but was seen in a protective boot following the defeat at Birmingham on Saturday.

That defeat saw Leeds drop out of the automatic promotion places and they need to get back to wining ways at Preston on Tuesday, but Hernandez is a worry according to boss Marcelo Bielsa.

He said: "There are possibilities that Pablo cannot play the game. [Kemar] Roofe will go in his position if Pablo cannot play.

"He received a hit in the last minute of the previous game, his evolution today is positive.

"We are not going to take any risks if he can make it worse in the match."
