New signing De Bock to wait for Leeds debut
Leeds' new signing Laurens De Bock will not be involved in Saturday's game at Ipswich after returning to Belgium.
Full-back De Bock, 25, signed a four-and-a-half-year deal this week after Leeds agreed an undisclosed fee with Club Brugge, but he has yet to train with his new team-mates.
"He signed and he went back, but now in a few days he will be back again with the team to train and to be ready for joining the group," Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen told a press conference.
"He's an interesting player at left-back - a position that we have been searching for so that will be a good signing."
Former Belgium Under-21 international De Bock is Leeds' third signing in the current transfer window following the arrivals of Japan international Yosuke Ideguchi and Finnish centre-half Aapo Halme.
Ideguchi, signed for an undisclosed fee from J1 League side Gamba Osaka, is set to go out on loan to Spanish Segunda Division side Cultural Leonesa for the rest of the season.
