Tyler Denton returns to Leeds
Leeds defender Tyler Denton has returned early from his loan spell at Port Vale due to family reasons, the Sky Bet Championship club have announced.
Left-sided player Denton joined League Two side Vale on a season-long loan in the summer, but will now return to Elland Road.
"We can confirm that Tyler Denton has returned from his loan spell at Port Vale due to family reasons," Leeds announced on their official website.
"The 22-year-old will link back up with Thomas Christiansen's first-team squad later this week."
Denton, who has made three senior appearances for Leeds after progressing through their academy, joined Port Vale in August.
He featured on 21 occasions for the Valiants in all competitions, making his last appearance in the home win against Coventry on Boxing Day.
Vale appointed Neil Aspin as their new boss in October and he strongly denied he had fallen out with Denton later that month after the player had been substituted at half-time in a win at Morecambe and failed to appear in the squad the following week.
