Robinson to leave Preston this summer
Preston striker Callum Robinson is heading to the Premier League this summer after the club confirmed a bid has been "accepted".
The Aston Villa academy product caught the eye last season in the Championship as he bagged 12 goals in 27 appearances.
It proved to be his highest-ever scoring season and appears to have convinced a Premier League club that he is ready to make the step up.
Preston released a statement on Thursday revealing that a bid has been accepted from the top flight, although they failed to confirm his next destination.
"Preston North End can confirm they have accepted a bid from a Premier League club for forward Callum Robinson," it read.
"The player has been given permission to leave the team's Irish training camp in order to discuss personal terms and undertake a medical ahead of a proposed move.
"There will be no further comment from the club at this time."
