Grimes praises Celina attitude
Swansea’s Matt Grimes has praised the mental strength of team-mate Bersant Celina.
The Kosovan hit the headlines last week against West Brom when he missed a penalty after slipping as he was about to strike the ball.
After that embarrassment, he proved his fortitude by starring against his former club Manchester City, grabbing his side's second goal by curling home following a sweeping counter-attacking move.
Grimes had earlier opened the scoring from the penalty spot and, despite Graham Potter's men eventually going down 3-2 to the Citizens, the Championship team emerged from their FA Cup quarter-final tie with plenty of credit.
Celina's performance was particularly eye-catching and having recovered from the low of his penalty heartache at The Hawthorns to star against City, his colleague has paid tribute to the 22-year-old's mental strength.
"Bersant's a quality player and everyone knows the quality he has got," Grimes told the club's website. "It was an unfortunate incident on Wednesday but we all knew he'd bounce back and he bounced back in the best possible way by getting such a well-taken goal.
"He is a quality player, a match-winner on his day, we know what he is capable of."
