Cummins tips Starc for return
Pat Cummins feels fellow paceman Mitchell Starc will be good to go in the final Ashes Test later this week.
Starc was forced to sit out the fourth match of the series with a bruised heel as the sides played out a draw in Melbourne.
The left-arm quick is still the leading wicket-taker in the series and maybe dodged a bullet as the MCG pitch offered little in the way of help for the seam bowlers.
The 27-year-old bowled in the nets on Tuesday and, according to Cummins, has an excellent chance of taking to the pitch at the SCG.
"He was running around without limping and it looked like he was bowling quickly," he said. "He's pretty confident that he's going to play. Now it's about seeing how it recovers.
"If he didn't think he could get through the match, then he wouldn't play. He's played a lot of cricket now and he knows what he can get through."
