England sticking with squad for Oval Test
England have named an unchanged squad for the fifth and final Ashes Test against Australia this week at The Oval.
The Three Lions go into the last Test of head coach Trevor Bayliss' tenure unchanged from the squad that suffered a 185-run defeat at the hands of the Baggy Greens at Old Trafford, which saw the tourists retain the urn.
A victory at The Oval this week, with the Test starting on Thursday, can still see England level the series to avoid a first Ashes series defeat on home soil since 2001.
All-rounder Ben Stokes, who was the hero of Headingley for England's victory in the third Test, will be assessed in the coming days to see if he's fit to bowl after struggling with a shoulder injury.
England squad for fifth Test: Joe Root (capt), Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler (wk), Sam Curran, Joe Denly, Jack Leach, Craig Overton, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes.
