Gloucestershire bring in Rodgers

6th April 2019, 17:50 by Bobbie Jackson

Former Australia opener Chris Rodgers has reunited with Gloucestershire for his second stint on the coaching staff.

He spent time with the first XI and development squads last season and will work closely with both again in 2019.

Gloucestershire have acquired his services for one County Championship game and the Royal London One-Day Cup group engagements.

Rodgers heads to Gloucestershire with plenty of experience, having spent seven years with the Australian national side, while he also boasts 12 seasons of first-class cricket in England.

Rodgers told the club's official website: "I'm really looking forward to seeing how the guys have been developing and what they've been working on."
