Langer calm on celebration furore
Justin Langer has played down the fallout from Australia's celebrations after retaining the Ashes on Sunday.
The tourists won the fourth Test at Old Trafford by 185 runs, a result that handed them a 2-1 lead in the series and, as the holders, ensured they would take home the urn regardless of this week's result at The Oval.
At one stage during the celebrations, Steve Smith was seen sporting rubber glasses and pretending to bat left-handed, actions that were suggested to be a barb towards England spinner Jack Leach.
Langer insists this was not the case, adding that the incident was actually aimed toward former Aussie opener Chris Rogers.
"Experience tells me that when you're doing well, people will try and pick holes in you," said Langer.
"I know the truth, Chris Rogers is a great mate of the squad, that's all it's about. People can make up what they like about it, but that's the truth."
