Moeen frustrated by batting order move
After moving up and down the order, Moeen Ali says it was frustrating not knowing where he was going to bat for England.
England have had a problem with the number three spot for years and Ali was one of a number of players who were tried in the position without much success.
Now England seem to have settled on Jonny Bairstow and Ali has admitted that he was frustrated to be pushed about the order.
He told Sky Sports: "I wasn’t quite sure actually because in the warm-up games I batted seven and nine and then I was told I was going to bat at three.
"Then after one game, I went down to six and seven. I’ve had that before so it’s not new to me.
"It can be frustrating but when you think about the side and what the team needs at the time then you kind of get over it and try to move on and try to do the best you can as a cricketer for England."
