Sharma misses deciding fourth Test
India's Rohit Sharma will miss the crucial fourth Test against Australia in Sydney because he has flown home to be with family.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed Sharma travelled back to Mumbai after India's victory in the third Test to spend time with his wife and new baby daughter.
India lead the series 2-1 and will claim a series victory if they avoid defeat in the fourth Test, which begins on Thursday.
No replacement has been called up for the middle-order batsman for Sydney, and Sharma is expected to return to Australia in time for the three-match ODI series that begins on January 12.
