Spin attack delights Rashid
Adil Rashid says he is loving England's three-spin attack that has worked so well in the current Test series in Sri Lanka.
England, arguably, have struggled to produce more than one top-class spin bowler at the same time and you have to go back to when they had Graeme Swann and Monty Panesar in the same Test team for the last consistent spinning duo.
However, the spinning days are looking a lot brighter and the current series in Sri Lanka has seen Rashid, Moeen Ali and Jack Leach dominate with the ball.
Across the first two Tests, which England won, Leach took 13 wickets, Moeen claimed 14 scalps, whilst Rashid has seven wickets to his name, highlighting the impressive performances of the three players.
It was business as usual on day two of the third Test in Colombo on Saturday as Rashid recorded his second five-wicket Test haul to help bowl SL out for 240 in their first innings
So far, the three spinners have taken 40 wickets between them and Yorkshire star Rashid is enjoying being involved.
"We all get on well, on and off the pitch," he told Sky Sports. "We've got quite a lot of variation there and on any given day it could be a different person taking wickets and luckily for me it was me today."
