Verstappen not short of confidence
Red Bull's Max Verstappen feels there are few Formula 1 driver as "complete" as him despite being just 21 years old.
The Dutchman has racked up seven grands prix victories since making his debut as a 17-year-old back in 2015 and is widely recognised as one of the most exciting talents in the sport.
The youngster has won two races this year and sits third in the standings, just seven points adrift of Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas.
While Lewis Hamilton is streets ahead at the top of the tree, it could be argued Verstappen is his most likely challenger and the former Toro Rosso ace appears confident in his own ability.
"I started out quite young, so I think that's pretty normal. Most other drivers started with Formula 1 on their 21st or 22nd (birthday)," he told Formule1.nl.
"If you look at the entire grid, I don't think that many people are more complete, even though they are 29 or 30 years old.
"What do I base that on? Speed, being consistent, how you work with the team: those are the most important things."
