Injury boost for City
Although unlikely to play, Leroy Sane is in the Manchester City squad that will face Basel in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The German winger was ruled out for six to seven weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage in City's FA Cup win at Cardiff on January 28, but is now back in training well ahead of schedule after making a miraculous recovery.
Sane trained on Monday morning before heading to Basel with the rest of the squad although an appearance is unlikely.
There was more good news on the injury front for City as David Silva also trained after missing the last two games through injury and so did Fabian Delph, who has been sidelined for the last month.
Vincent Kompany is also in contention to play in what would be his first European game for City since the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in April 2016.
