High goals for Ajax starlet

13th February 2018, 13:45 by Alex Jack

Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert has revealed there are a number of European giants that he can see himself playing for in the future.

Kluivert, whose deal runs out at Ajax in June 2019, has been catching the eye with his performances over the past couple of seasons in the Eredivisie and the 18-year-old is expected to have a bright future ahead of him.

The son of Dutch legend Patrick, Kluivert has admitted his father's former club Barcelona are just one of the big European sides he would like to play for in the future.

“If you get a nice offer, you never know,” he told Helden. “England appeals to me: Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea or Manchester United are nice clubs where I can see myself playing in a few years.

“Everywhere I go abroad they know my father, he often asked: ‘Come to Barcelona, I’ll give a tour of Camp Nou’.

“I really wanted to go to Barcelona instead of Real Madrid. Barcelona is in my heart but who am I to say no to Real Madrid?”
