Italian teams eye Darmian move
Tullio Tinti, the agent of Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian, says his client is attracting interest from Serie A.
Italy international Darmian arrived at Old Trafford in 2015 from Torino and he was a regular first-team fixture under manager Louis van Gaal, making 28 Premier League appearances and scoring one goal in his debut campaign.
However, since the appointment of Jose Mourinho in 2016, the 28-year-old defender has found opportunities limited and he has made just two starts in England's top-flight this season.
Several reports have suggested the Legnano-born star will be leaving the Theatre of Dreams this month and Roma were believed to be leading the race for his signature at one stage.
Tinti has now revealed Darmian is attracting interest from Italy although there has been no communication with the Giallorossi.
He told Rete Sport: "I haven't had any calls from Roma for the player. There has been contact with other Serie A teams, but not with the Giallorossi. For the moment the lad isn't for sale."
