Bjorn completes Ryder Cup journey with tattoo
Europeann captain Thomas Bjorn has kept his promise to have a tattoo of the Ryder Cup-winning score on his backside.
The Dane led Europe to a comprehensive 17.5-11.5 victory over the USA at Le Golf National in September as the stars from this side of the Atlantic avenged their defeat from 2016.
Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood were the heroes but Bjorn managed to blend together a side in which every member contributed at least a point.
Before a ball had been hit, the 47-year-old made the promise and afterwards said it was the "worst decision he made all week."
There were a few players and members of the media who doubted that he would have it done but he posted a picture of himself on Twitter laid face down with the caption 'I told you I would do it'."
While the tattoo might have been the fun side of proceedings, the scoreline proved that European golf is on the up, with many youngsters coming through to take the challenge stateside in 2020.
