Casey claims three-shot lead in California
England's Paul Casey will take a three-shot lead into the fourth and final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday.
The 41-year-old is looking for his third PGA Tour title and he managed to stay in control after starting the day in a tie for the lead.
A five-under round of 67 at Spyglass Hill allowed him to reach 15-under with his rivals not able to keep pace.
Four-time winner Phil Mickelson carded a round of 70 to move into second but he will need a strong showing on Sunday to overhaul Casey.
Scott Piercy and Lucas Glover are tied in third place, while Brian Gay and Matt Every share fifth in California.
Scot Russell Knox is six shots back after a 68, while Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell is a further two strokes adrift.
Casey admits he has enjoyed himself so far on the west coast and insists he is still learning how to place the famous course.
He told the PGA Tour: "Every time I play Pebble, I learn a little bit. I don’t know this place as well as other classic venues that we play, so every day’s a bit of a school day."
