Gelding Has Conditions To Win Again

CLASSIC STAR looks next best on BTO ratings and has run two good seconds in the last three weeks. Those were off marks of 60 and 61 and he goes the latter mark today so may just be done again, though he is partnered for the first time in his career by a non-claiming jockey. Joey Haynes takes the reins, though he is just six from 140 at the course.

DUTCH STORY, trained by Amanda Perrett and a winner last time out when cheekpieces were applied for the first time looks the other main danger but goes up 8lb for that win. He was beaten out of sight here in May but it was his debut. The progeny of his sire Dutch Art are 21 from 193 at the course. At 9/4 Deconso is a worthy favourite.
