Buick set to return
William Buick is scheduled to return to racing action this Friday at Newmarket, subject to medical approval from the BHA on Thursday.
Buick suffered a fall from Sir Busker on the way to the start at Ascot back in May and has been out of action after suffering with 'post head injury syndrome'.
After spending time in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, he is back riding again and is scheduled to have two runs on Friday for employer Godolphin.
The 31-year-old has ridden just 13 winners in Britain this year but will ride Charlie Appleby's Lazuli in the 6f novice stakes at 6:25 at Newmarket.
He will then pilot Appleby's Art Song in the 1m novice stakes at 8:00, subject to medical approval.
