Henderson devastated by We Have A Dream fatality
Trainer Nicky Henderson admitted he was "gutted" after young prospect We Have A Dream sustained a fatal injury on Saturday.
The five-year-old, who finished second in the Randox Health County Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham on March 15, sustained the injury during a workout at Seven Barrows.
The son of Martaline had already won six times in his fledgling career and looked set for big things, with victory in the Timeform Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso in February under Daryl Jacob his most recent success.
He won the Grade 1 Doom Bar Anniversary Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree last year and held an entry in the Betway Aintree Hurdle on Thursday.
Henderson posted on Twitter: "Absolutely devastated to report that We Have A Dream suffered a fatal injury this morning and broke his leg after working this morning.
"We are all completely gutted as he was the most likeable person and it's hard to have favourites but if we did, he would be top of the list."
