Henderson pleased with Buveur D'Air
Trainer Nicky Henderson insists he is happy with Buveur D'Air's condition as he prepares to run on Boxing Day at Kempton.
The six-year-old will compete in the Unibet Christmas Hurdle on Tuesday as he looks to secure his second win of the new jumps season.
After cruising to victory at the Cheltenham Festival, Buveur D'Air won on his reappearance at Newcastle on December 2.
As a 1-6 favourite, he eased to victory in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle and Henderson is expecting him to continue his form at Kempton.
He told reporters: "Newcastle was perfect. The great thing about Buveur D'Air is that he loves soft ground, but I am not saying that he needs it to come up as a bog at Kempton.
"We would never run him on fast ground. He is in good form and he did that very well up there (Newcastle)."
