Percy comes through Galway run

2nd March 2019, 14:16 by Alex Jack

Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite Presenting Percy came through a positive schooling session over fences at Galway on Saturday.

Having landed the Pertemps Final and the RSA Chase in each of the last two seasons at Cheltenham, the talented runner is going for this big prize this year - the Gold Cup.

Pat Kelly's stable star has been kept fresh leading into the Festival, having only run once since his RSA triumph last year.

Fellow Festival winner Mall Dini joined Presenting Percy for schooling at Galway and backers will be pleased to see the pair came through the session well in the lead up to the Gold Cup on Friday week.

Galway Racecourse tweeted: "Great to see Presenting Percy making light work of a left-handed Galway this morning! Mall Dini in great shape also."
