Blues ace Loftus-Cheek reveals England aim
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is aiming to feature in England's UEFA Nations League semi by performing well for Chelsea in the remaining matches.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a strong season at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri's leadership on the back of scoring two goals in 25 appearances on loan with Crystal Palace in the 2017-18 campaign.
Loftus-Cheek has scored eight goals in 35 outings in all competitions for the Blues and has also picked up 10 caps for England since making his debut in 2017.
He missed the Three Lions' last two Nations League games in 2018 because of back issues and has not featured in the Euro 2020 qualifiers this year.
However, having started the last four Premier League games for Chelsea, Loftus-Cheek has one eye on returning to Gareth Southgate's plans for the Nations League semi-final against the Netherlands on June 6.
He said: "I am focused on the now and hoping (for England) in the future. The way you get in the England squad is doing well for your club.
"England is a by-product of what you're doing. My focus is all on Chelsea and playing well when I get the opportunity. If you do well, you have every chance of being called up to England."
