Valverde wary of United's power
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has described Champions League quarter-final opponents Manchester United as "powerful" and "dangerous".
The Barca boss takes his side to Old Trafford for the quarter-final first leg on Wednesday hoping to secure a positive result to take back to the Camp Nou for the return clash next Tuesday.
And while the Catalan giants are strong favourites to progress to the semi-finals, Valverde knows it would be pure folly to dismiss a United side which overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit by winning 3-1 away at Paris Saint-Germain in the return clash to win the last-16 tie on away goals.
"They are a powerful team. They are going through a good run, even if they lost their last match," he told Sky Sports.
"Physically they are really strong and they know how to put pressure on their opponents. They have players who are physically very powerful, and they can be dangerous strategically as well.
"This match is a classic in European football. Barcelona have never won at Old Trafford, I believe, and we are going to try and change that."
