Mbappe ready to snub Real

23rd April 2019, 10:46 by Michael Holland

Real Madrid may have to look elsewhere after Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe insisted he is happy where he is.

The Parisians finally wrapped up the Ligue 1 title with victory over Monaco but there has been plenty of speculation suggesting Mbappe will not hang around.

Real have been heavily linked as Zinedine Zidane would like to link up with his fellow countryman and is ready to launch a mammoth bid in the summer.

However, Mbappe insists his immediate future is with PSG.

"I joined the PSG project. I'm happy for Real Madrid if Zizou has returned. I will watch the matches as an admirer," he said when quizzed out his future.

That may not stop Real from making a move and Mbappe's comments are unlikely to put an end to the rumours.
