Militao relishing Los Blancos chance
Eder Militao claims Real Madrid are the world's "best club" and he had no hesitation in joining from Porto in a 40million euros deal.
The 21-year-old Brazil international only moved to Europe 12 months ago when linking up with Porto on a five-year contract from Sao Paulo in his homeland.
However, his performances prompted Los Blancos to swoop for his signature as boss Zinedine Zidane looks to strengthen up his defensive midfield options at the Bernabeu.
Militao is by no means guaranteed first-team football in the coming season but has vowed to do all he can to become a regular and will give his all to the club.
"I know there's pressure, it's a very big club, but it's good to do a good job, surely that pressure will always exist," Militao told reporters.
"I come to do my job, to be a starter or not, the Coach will decide this, if he wants me to play then I will play, I have my feet on the ground.
"I'm going to give everything for this shirt and I'll always play like it's the last game, I'm going to have a good season here and give joy to the fans.
"When I got the news I did not think twice, I saw myself playing in the best club in the world, I was very happy."
