Real expected to make Jovic move
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic admits the club are powerless if Real Madrid try to sign Luka Jovic this summer.
Real look almost certain to have a major overhaul of their squad during the summer and one player that has been linked with a move to the club is Serbia international Jovic, who has been in scintillating form for Frankfurt this season.
The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga so far this term, as well as eight times in the Europa League and it was no surprise to see Frankfurt turn his loan move from Benfica into a permanent deal last week for just 12million euros.
Jovic is now contracted to Frankfurt until the summer of 2023, although Bobic has confirmed that the German club would not stand in his way if Real were to come calling this summer.
"There's a real possibility that Jovic signs for Real Madrid," Bobic was quoted as saying by Marca.
"I hope and want him to stay here at Eintracht, but I'm also realistic and know that if a big club like Real Madrid want him then we haven't got a chance of keeping him."
Signing Jovic won't come cheap for Real, however, as it is believed Frankfurt will want between 60 and 70million euros if they are to part ways with their leading scorer.
