'Transfer request' from Mbappe at PSG
Reports in France claim star forward Kylian Mbappe has handed in a transfer request and wants to quit Paris Saint-Germain.
The 20-year-old, a World Cup winner with France in 2018, has completed two seasons at the Parc des Princes - the first one on loan from Monaco - scoring 60 goals from 87 appearances in all competitions.
He is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world and looks set for a stellar career at the top of the sport.
The Paris-born ace joined PSG alongside Neymar but, with rumours that the Brazilian also wants out, it seems as though it may not be a happy camp.
French publication L'Equipe recently put out a transcript of his speech online in which Mbappe said: "It's a very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career.
"I have discovered a lot here and I feel it is may be the moment to have more responsibility.
"I hope that can perhaps be at Paris St Germain, that would be a great pleasure. Or maybe elsewhere with a new project."
Rumours of discontent have now been backed up by Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, who are reporting that the young superstar has asked to leave the club amid reports that Real Madrid are set to make a huge offer.
