I'm enjoying PSG career - Choupo-Moting

4th June 2019, 12:58 by James Mason

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting says he is not looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and is enjoying his time with the club.

PSG made a surprising signing last summer when they snapped up Cameroon international Choupo-Moting on a free transfer after his contract at English outfit Stoke City came to an end.

The 30-year-old's playing time at the Parc des Princes was limited last season, making just eight Ligue 1 starts, and there have been reports claiming the French champions are willing to let his leave.

However, the Hamburg-born star says he is happy with how things went during his debut campaign in Paris and he is keeping his fingers crossed the club will keep him.

"I really like PSG, the public, the city. Of course, I would like to be here," he told RMC Sport. "Normally, I'll be here because I still have a contract.

"In football, you never know but I still have a contract and I feel very good."
