Mbappe to miss out after 'personality' comments
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is set punish superstar Kylian Mbappe by dropping him from the side to face Nantes on Wednesday.
The World Cup winner slated his team-mates for having 'no personality' after they were surprisingly hammered 5-1 last weekend by Lille in the French top flight, saying: "We lack personality, it's one of our flaws, we have to correct this. We played like debutants."
Tuchel is thought to have considered the comments unnecessary and is now set to leave him out of the clash at Nantes on Wednesday night where PSG will lift the title if they win.
He said: "It is too easy to say, like Mbappe did, that we lacked personality.
"On the contrary, this match showed our mentality, contrary to what everyone thinks."
Tuchel runs the risk of alienating Mbappe and there would be no shortage of mega clubs ready to pay massive amounts to land the forward if he decided to move on.
