Nkunku's PSG future thrown into doubt
Christopher Nkunku has thrown his Paris Saint-Germain future into doubt after reportedly rejecting the offer of a new contract.
The 21-year-old is highly rated at the Parc des Princes and has featured 26 times across all competitions this season.
However, the France Under-21 international has only started 16 of those games, while he did not feature at all during the Parisians run to the knockout stage of the Champions League.
That lack of involvement is said to have left Nkunku considering his options at PSG, while it is also being reported that he has rejected a new contract offer from the runaway Ligue 1 leaders.
Nkunku's current deal is due to expire in just over a year's time, which means PSG could be forced to cash-in on the youngster this summer or run the risk of losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.
Arsenal were reportedly interested in signing the Lagny-sur-Marne-born star during the January transfer window and Gunners boss Unai Emery, who knows the midfielder well from their time together at PSG, could renew his interest this summer.
Nkunku and Emery are believed to have a good working relationship although if Arsenal want to push through a deal, then it seems they will have to stump up around £30million.
